Current Work

At the moment , I am trying to bring more colour into my work – if only because I was able to get hold of a large number of stains cheap! All the work is slab built using Valentines ES 60 and multi fired to 1120, using a mixture of coloured slips, engobes and transparent glaze. The initial inspiration for the work was the multi layers of colour and detail that you see in standing tones and worn painted surfaces.
